Review of 3 Body Problem

If humans considered Ye Wenjie as a traitor; then technically, Superman too may be considered the same as well, who after all helped humans to destroy General Zod’s (a true Patriot) genuine ambitions to resurrect his own last remaining Species via Codex!

Now let’s say, the series sailed away from the original book structure, as being contended, and the viewer is exposed to this fresh piece of series, in the biological animated form; yet, there’re more than 3 problems. Firstly, it’s unfathomable as why any advanced civilization (Trisolarans/San-Ti) would disclose 400 years in advance, to whom they consider(ed) as Bugs, Pests, Liars; any of their prospective plans? And let’s say they needed time to evaluate original evolutionary traits of the human species; then too, one who can communicate merely via thoughts, read minds; then four decades were more than enough to understand evolutionary traits of one species! Then why they didn’t eradicate their thought aka foot-prints on planet earth after realizing the original evolutionary traits, silently; but rather, chose to write on the billboard about their future plans i.e. ‘they’re coming, they’re coming’! Unfathomable? Would you, as humans, do it as an intelligent species, knowing the original evolutionary traits of Bugs, Pests & Liars? Furthermore, not only that, telling all the secrets of all their weapons (Sophons), number of ships sailing, and further letting knowing their enemies viz. Bugs (the humans) their location; and also, that they’ve utilized all their resources building these four sophons etc. Why? That has so far not been elucidated in the series clearly.

Another issue is, when the Pacifist amongst the Aliens already wrote, Not to Reply, to the message received from Wenjie, else they would come; then it was clear as it could be, the intentions of the Aliens who were finding a new home, to Conquer! Then why the LORD didn’t wait for 400 years to disclose their original intentions; further didn’t disarm the advancement of human civilization surreptitiously; BUT, rather chose to do it Openly? Was it Overconfidence? Ego? Immaturity? Ignorance? or Naivety? And let’s say just because they never lie(d); but again, they’re highly intelligent, thoughtful, evolved, impeccable analysts! Correct? Then why would they commit such above mistakes?

The object to conquer, as described by the Pacifist itself initially in the beginning, cannot be equaled to co-existence. Correct?

And if all this playing video games was a recruitment program of the best of the bestest, then seems, the Aliens too failed in the evolutionary traits test as well. That’s why end up recruiting the ones, who they cannot even rely upon later!

The never changing imperialistic West, the never changing authoritarian East, the never changing victims of global South, the never changing cringeworthy talks of Contrived Humanity, the never changing Academic-Financial Inferiority Complexes (AFIC); the series was also able to put everything in one Meal Box.

Yet, all said & done, an engaging watch.😊

Review of The Glory

Between Evolution vs. Edicts, most of the times the former is the ultimate truth, as perceptible evolution hardly alters in any perceivable evolutionary cycle, whereas edicts keep getting to be interpreted differently every day, month, year, and the same interpretations won’t even last a decade, unless being circulated misinterpreted for inappropriate reasons.

The Glory is one such series, which I say, has walked on the path of embracing the above fact in mind that usually, evolutionary traits hardly alter in any perceivable evolutionary cycle; and thus, I personally got captivated with the series.

Further, thanks to the likes of pretentious modern Academia in the hands of both modern left/liberal & traders, who left no stone unturned to bring Academia to be defined now under the definition of the first para, whilst at the same time making sure concurrently that the said concept becoming an offensive doctrine too, in narratives.

The game of GO being metaphorically defined in the series as the one wherein the protagonist takes the revenge in silence. But if we closely discern, the protagonist (Moon Dong-eun) was a passive observant in her genuine revenge, rather, playing king Leonidas, and further this approach being a passive observant instead of wanting to be an influencer or famous, made her to accomplish to end eighteen years of inflicted torment, dousing not only her own agony, but also of many, resolving what was once considered unresolvable.

I would admit the flow of the series was as lucid as reserved. And whether Dong-eun’s herself or her younger version Jung Ji-so or Park Yeon-jin, the story was knotted in a way that it would be hard to forward anything. The script being a young girl being severely bullied (along with many others) by some of her batchmates, ends up taking revenge after eighteen years.

Characterization matters. As if in case the correct Lego pieces are not interlocked properly, then the game seems ought to have been played with pressure & not with passion. Thus, every character in the series was rightly interlocked.

BTW, rather having revenge with an or mere some individual(s), try having it like a passive observer with the evolutionary traits in general without try to being a protagonist. It might not alter or reverse anything at the inception level, but such for a time being could be mitigated! Further, solution always lies in the past, not in the future.

All said & done, a good watch. 😊
